Ame Sua Mente na Escola
The Institute’s main initiative is: mental health literacy training for educators and school administrators in the public school system.
This journey, developed by our mental health experts, combines distance learning strategies, ensuring a hybrid, qualified, accessible experience with great potential for scaling.
Our goal is to empower educational professionals to promote mental health, combat stigma, prevent mental disorders, and minimize the impact of illness among students.
Projeto Bússola
The Bússola Ame Sua Mente is a digital tool that supports educators in preventing and managing mental health issues.
The content, developed by mental health and educational experts, uses practical, objective, and dynamic language in different multimedia formats.
Through WhatsApp or a browser, users access microlearning journeys guided by a chatbot. There are currently three training courses available that address depression, self-harm, and suicide.
Project carried out in partnership with CISM and IDOr Ciência Pioneira.

Training for psychologists
A new training program has been developed by educational and mental health specialists at the Institute, which aims to improve the practice of school psychologists currently working in public school systems, in response to the National Policy on Psychosocial Care in School Communities and Law 10,216/2001.
Its goal is to enhance the preparation of these professionals to deal with mental health challenges in the school environment.
Recommendations on mental health for school management
We produce practical guidelines and effective strategies to support school principals and coordinators in working with the school community to foster a welcoming culture that promotes mental health.
The material was developed by psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, and school administrators, and addresses key topics: fundamental concepts of mental health promotion, ethnic and racial awareness, drugs, suicide, self-harm, bullying, and cyberbullying.
The material provides guidelines for identifying warning signs and recommendations for offering adequate support to students who need specialized assistance.
Initiative in partnership with Instituto Camino and Instituto Unibanco.
